Students from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School, first grade class, took time out of their busy anticipation of expected holiday season fun to remember others.
A group of the students, brought "sock snowmen" they had individually created to give to JFK's pediatric patients who would be confined to the hospital during some part of the holiday.
Some with teeth missing through their smile and others showing their "shy" side, presented their homemade efforts of love to JFK's Patient Care Coordinator's Geri Samaniego and Serena Marina.
Karen Boyle, mother of a student, said the children were excited to be delivering their holiday cheer. Each of the snowmen had a creation story behind them that was thoroughly entertaining.
May the acts of these children remind you to stop and spread a small bit of Holiday Cheer to all you meet this Christmas Season.
Best Wishes from all at JFK.
